How does TrichoCyte® work?
This super-charged hair growth formula starts with the Booster Activation Kit. This booster treatment includes a special serum and oral tablets. After this activation phase, our patients move to the maintenance stage. This includes continuing to use the serum and tablets at home. As needed, you may visit us periodically for “spot” and booster treatments.
How long does each “stage” take?
The activation phase lasts three months. It provides everything your scalp needs to kickstart the process of hair restoration. From there, as our team has advised, you will continue to use the products within the system. This supports continued hair growth. Continued in-office booster treatments may be scheduled once a month. In studies, CryoConcepts reports that this protocol resulted in three to four times faster regrowth than the use of TrichoCyte® products alone, and those results were noticeable in as little as six treatment sessions.
How long does treatment take?

What is the most common type of hair loss that TrichoCyte® treats?
Androgenetic alopecia affects both men and women and is responsible for more than 95% of all hair loss. Also known as male-pattern and female-pattern baldness, this condition is typically characterized by a well-defined “pattern” of hair loss. For men, that pattern looks like an “M” shape as the hair thins at the sides and then moves backward, resulting in thinning on top of the head that frequently progresses to partial or complete baldness. For women, the characteristic pattern is thinning on top of the head with a progressive widening of the middle part. The hairline usually does not recede, and our female patients rarely experience total baldness.
Are there any side effects of treatment?
There are no known side effects. That said, your scalp may feel a little dry when you first begin using the home products in your activation kit.
