Restylane Lyft is used to address facial folds and wrinkles classified as moderate to severe. Nasolabial folds are the creases that extend from the sides of your nose to the corners of your mouth.
Lyft is also a premium choice for correcting age-related contour deficiencies in the middle of the face and can be used in the hands to correct loss of volume.
Restylane and Restylane-L
Restylane and Restylane-L are formulated for treating facial tissue at a mid to deep injection level, making them suitable for treating moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles. Both are also used as lip fillers.
Restylane Refyne
Refyne is also injected into mid to deep tissue to correct moderate or severe facial wrinkles, including nasolabial folds. Unlike Restylane and Restylane-L, however, it is not used for lip augmentation.
Restylane Defyne
Defyne is approved for the same uses as Refyne, and it’s also used as an injectable treatment in the mid to deep dermis for chin augmentation. This filler is often recommended to improve chin profiles in patients with chin retrusion.
Restylane Contour
Restylane Contour is indicated for cheek augmentation. It’s also used to correct contour deficiencies in the midface region.
Restylane Treatment: What to Expect
Treatments average less than an hour, depending on the type of product being used and how many areas are being treated. There is little or no downtime required after treatment, so you can go back to your normal day.
When you come in for your appointment, we’ll take you back and make sure you’re comfortable. After thoroughly cleansing the area that will be treated, we will carefully inject the clear Restylane gel into the appropriate area to achieve the results you’re looking for.
Results are long-lasting but can vary depending on many factors. Typical results from treatment are as follows:
- Restylane: Up to 18 months
- Restylane Lyft: Up to 12 months in the cheeks and 6 months in the hands and face
- Restylane Silk: Up to 6 months in the perioral rhytids and in the lips
- Restylane Refyne and Defyne: Up to 12 months in facial folds and wrinkles
Since Restylane fillers contain hyaluronic acid to plump the skin, you will notice some increase in volume soon after your session, and these effects will develop further with time. You can expect to see the final results in about four to six weeks.
